QASR AL WATAN – PALACE OF THE NATION

What: The exquisite building, currently the meeting place for the highest constitutional authority in the UAE where official state visits and global leaders are hosted, is a tribute to UAE’s Arabian heritage and artistry. With the opening of this palace (last month), tourists and visitors now have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the country’s values and tradition and will be able to explore a well-preserved legacy of knowledge.

CINEMA ON THE BAY IS BACK, AT THE DUBAI FESTIVAL CITY MALL AND THE FESTIVAL BAY

What:  Experience big screen cinema like never before – on a star lit bay – with your family and friends, absolutely free. This outdoor cinema can seat up to 150 visitors on bean bags and plush couches, while they screen one movie every night from Sunday to Wednesday, at 7 pm.

DUBAI REOPENS WORLD’S LARGEST INFLATABLE WATER PARK AT JBR BEACH

What: AQUAFUN, the world’s largest inflatable water park, has reopened with a new design featuring the phrase, ‘I LOVE DUBAI’ (in both Arabic and English)

Launched in 2013, the world’s largest inflatable water park is entirely made up of high quality rubber, covers an area of about 5,000 square meters and can accommodate up to 500 visitors.

The water park is designed as an obstacle course where visitors must maneuver across 100 obstacles comprising of bridges, curves, towers, stairs and slopes, to complete the challenge.

Where: The Beach, opposite of JBR – Dubai

LEARN AND EXPERIENCE THE ‘BEDOUIN’ LIFE STYLE

What: An unforgettable desert experience where guests can relive the 1920’s lifestyle, of a Bedouin. The tour starts off with a traditional 25-minute camel caravan across the desert while learning about the desert lifestyle of a nomadic Bedouin. The caravan will then make stops for a traditional ‘Majlis’ and ‘Falconry show’. The guests will then be brought to a traditional Bedouin village next to the breath-taking Desert oasis, at the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve, where they can explore and learn about Emirati handicrafts and spices.
