Tucked away off the coast of Jumeirah, The Island is a megaproject by Wasl, geared to feature the world's most renowned trio of Las Vegas hotels, including MGM, Bellagio, and Aria. The development of The Island is claimed to be the largest construction deal in Dubai since 2017, priced at a staggering USD 1.2 billion. Currently under construction, the luxe destination will be home to a total inventory of 1,400 hotel rooms from leading Vegas brands primarily the Mediterranean- inspired Bellagio, star-studded MGM Grand, and exquisite Aria Resort. Further details have yet to be revealed whether or not The Island will feature licensed gaming amenities.
