The Dubai Reef project is one of the world’s largest marine reef development, spanning 600 square kilometres and will be home to over 1 billion corals. The mixed-development mega project will be the first floating sustainable city of its kind offering facilities ranging from research and education to retail, hospitality, entertainment, residential and community amenities. The eco-friendly destination will offer unique marine ecotourism experiences, with an array of eco lodges and marine activities, all fuelled by 100% renewable energy. Powered by the visionary leadership of Dubai Government and authorities, and in association with global experts, the Dubai Reef project is part of the city’s efforts to increase marine biodiversity, help boost food security, and reduce carbon emissions, contributing significantly to a sustainability-driven future where the ocean and city thrive in balance.
